The Rangely Elks Club held its annual Christmas Party on Dec. 19 with roughly 75 children taking part. Activities included children telling Santa what they want for Christmas, there was an arts and crafts table run by Ingrid Reed from Giant Step, face painting was done by Tony Benson (above, painting Brooke Davis), and the Elks served cookies, milk and orange juice. The highlight was each child receiving a gift bag after his or her turn with Santa.
Rangely High School seniors Holland Lepro, left, and Heather Turner, right, received the Elks National Foundation Scholarship and Colorado Elks Association Scholarship at the Rangely High School graduation ceremonies on Saturday.
