RBC I EnCana Oil and Gas, along with Versatile Productions, was awarded two Bronze Telly Awards at the national 30th Annual Telly Awards for outstanding film and video productions. Additionally, EnCana, in partnership with the University of Colorado at Denver, received a third Bronze Telly. Versatile Productions produced the three videos.
In the category of employee communications, EnCana and the Colorado Division of Wildlife were recognized for the “Wildlife in Colorado: What You Should Know” video. The educational training video was developed to build awareness about the variety of wildlife oil and gas industry workers might encounter in their jobs. It also provided information on: state rules and regulations regarding hunting, fishing and wildlife; DOW’s mission and objectives; what to do in the event of a wildlife encounter; and answers to common questions about wildlife.
A second Bronze Telly was awarded to EnCana for the “Courtesy Matters” video in the public relations category. The video highlighted the company’s efforts to promote open and transparent communications and educate the community about oil and gas development.
