Expo seminar Saturday in Meeker for outdoor businesses

MEEKER I John Pope and Jason Killen, founders of The Black Canyon Hunt and Outdoor Expo, which will be held in Montrose on Feb. 1 and 2, will be in Meeker on Saturday to let owners of outdoors-related business in Rio Blanco County know how to take part in the major outdoor exposition.
Pope and Killen will be at the Meeker Hotel conference room from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and they will show business owners how to participate in the event and gain exposure to thousands of outdoor enthusiasts who migrate to Western Colorado each fall.
The gathering will also address how to promote one’s outdoor business and there will be a prize giveaway sponsored by Cabela’s.
The Black Canyon Hunt and Outdoor Expo will be held at the Montrose County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. The two-day event is jammed with seminars, events and activities, prizes and more and is a great venue to see the variety of products and services all the exhibitors have to offer throughout the Western Slope of Colorado.
