Facelift…

Rangely’s Bank of the San Juans building on Main Street got a facelift this week when Grand Junction’s Calvin Stucco and Stone, Inc., applied a latex cement called Genesis to the building’s cracked and shrinking stucco exterior. A fiberglass mesh was embedded over the existing stucco, followed by troweling on the cement over the existing stucco. Calvin Stucco owner Mark Calvin said the process creates a hard finish designed to last for 10 to 15 years.
