The annual FFA Food for America Farm Day is being held today on the vacant lot just south of Meeker High School from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. FFA Food for America Farm Day is an educational opportunity very beneficial to anyone who wants to learn more about animals and agriculture as well as where food comes from. This event is open to all students of the Meeker School District as well as the public and community members of Meeker. The Meeker FFA chapter is responsible for this event, and it is planned and operated by Meeker High School FFA members under the direction of agriculture education teacher/FFA advisor Trina Smith.
