FFA teams/individuals headed to Nationals

MEEKER | The Meeker FFA Chapter has three different competitive teams/individuals who are 2013 Colorado State Champions in their respective events.
These groups and individuals will be representing Colorado in their respective competitions at the National FFA Convention in Louisville, Ky., from Oct. 28 to Nov. 2.
These teams/individuals include the Colorado State FFA Livestock Judging Team: Maclaine Shults, Madi Shults, Ty Dunham and Sam Baylie; the Colorado State Agricultural Issues Team: Kaylynn Dunham, Tristan Nielsen, Anna George, Brittany Smith, Jamie McLaughlin and Andy Urista; national semi-finalist for the Outdoor Recreation Proficiency Award: Mason Scritchfield.
Anyone wanting to support these teams’ travel expenses is welcome to do so and any support is appreciated. To assist financially, please contact Trina Smith, the FFA advisor/agriculture education instructor at Meeker High School.
