RANGELY I Dani Bull, born and raised in Rangely and a former guest reporter and photographer for the Rio Blanco Herald Times, has just published her first children’s book with Amazon.com. “Grandma Please Don’t” is a touching, yet funny, walk through several situations that a grandmother shares with her granddaughter. Based on her own experiences, this beautifully illustrated book is a fun addition to any children’s e-book library.
The book is Bull’s first published work but she has several others in the works and expects to have at least two more children’s books and one or two mainstream novels out by the end of 2012. With sales of more than 750 books so far, Bull is excited about the response to “Grandma Please Don’t” and quite hopeful that further books will be even more successful.
Bull got her start in writing with the Rio Blanco Herald Times and another Rio Blanco County local newspaper as a guest writer and photographer in the early 2000s. After moving to Washington State in 2006 she began working full-time for a local weekly newspaper in that area as a reporter.
