MEEKER I Want to dance the night away on Valentine’s Day?
The Clover Loafers of Meeker will host a free dance with a cash bar by the Meeker Lions Club and snacks from Wendll’s on Saturday from 8 p.m. to midnight.
The event will take place on the first floor in the Hugus Building with no cover, but donations are welcome to benefit the Pioneers Medical Center Foundation.
The Clover Loafers are made up of David Cole, Mary K. Krueger and Dave Main, who will perform an eclectic variety of songs ranging from Irish ballads to folk music and country music to polkas, waltzes and reels.
You can dance the night away with your sweetheart or take a chance and meet new people at the event.
“It’s been a tough winter so far, and we want to cheer folks up in Meeker with some fun, free entertainment,” Krueger said.
