Two stores in downtown Meeker will have a joint open house on Friday; one of the stores having relocated and the other a new business. The public is invited to visit both businesses to check them out. Turquoise Gypsy Boutique, previously at 770 Main St., and Nana Goose Interiors & Gifts will hold the open house from 4 to 7 p.m. at 590 Main St., the former home of Meeker Video. There will be hors d’oeuvres, drinks, a raffle and a gift card giveaway as part of the open house. Turquoise Gypsy Boutique is owned by Kindal Nay, pictured above, and features children’s and women’s clothing, home décor, gifts and much of the same inventory as the past location. Nana Goose Interiors & Gifts is owned by Jan Henderson and Sherry Rubin and features home décor, floral displays and furniture. After Friday’s grand opening, the hours for the businesses will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and closed on Sundays.
