Fundraiser Nov. 19 for Kacey Pozorski

MEEKER I A fundraiser, featuring a “Holy Macaroni ‘N’ Cheese” contest, will be held Nov. 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the RBC Fairgrounds to benefit the Kacey Pozorski family.
Kacey, 4, has an inoperable brain tumor and has been accepted into a chemotherapy treatment study at the University of Minnesota. Her parents, Kurt and Jackie, have had to stop working, so they can be with their daughter.
The fundraiser will also include bingo, a turkey dinner, bake sale, appetizers by Meeker restaurants and a silent auction of items donated by local businesses.
For the mac ‘n’ cheese contest, participants are asked to bring enough (12 pounds) for sampling. There is an entrance fee of $20. The first-place winner will receive a $25 chamber certificate.
