RANGELY — Early childhood education is vital to our community. Children need a strong early learning foundation to succeed in school, and go on to succeed in life.
Make a difference in your community:
• Support early literacy programs. Early reading skills are crucial for young children to be ready for school.
• Reach out and thank parents, teachers and all adults who help young children get a great start.
• Support policies at the local, state, and federal levels that provide high-quality early learning opportunities for all young children.
Giant Step Preschool and Child Care Center is hosting an open house on Thursday, April 23 from 6-7:30 p.m. at 246 E. Main in Rangely. Please step in to meet the staff, have a snack and discover how our program supports learning. We utilize Creative Curriculum, which is based on theory and research and supports play, which is how children learn and develop the necessary social skills in order to be successful learners.
