RANGELY — The Udderly
Cool Goat Club got together
April 15 around 7 p.m. for its
second meeting to discuss
upcoming events and talk about
their goats.
Upcoming events include the
4-H feeder show that is to be
held May 10, an upcoming visit
to Eagle Crest and a possibility
for the Udderly Cool Goat Club
to take a fun trip to Meeker for
swimming and lunch.
Later, club leader Janilee
Storey talked about getting our
goats from the breeders and taking
care of them.
Then club members played a
fun game on remembering the
different body parts of goats.
Club members will be playing
this game every month until we
have a thorough memory of a
goat’s anatomy.
Next, club members played a
game that focused on what we
look for in goats. Everyone took
a bingo sheet and filled in good
qualities for goats and played
bingo. The next meeting will be
May 6 at 7 p.m. in the extension
office at which time we will be
talking about the health of our
goats.
