RANGELY I The Rangely cross country runners took a road trip to Gunnison for their meet this weekend. The weather was cool but the course was slow.
The runners didn’t have personal bests but were able to run good races and beat other runners that they had not been able to beat yet this year. Savannah Nielsen led the girls with a place of 42nd and a time of 25:36 while Rebecca Gillard came in 64th with a time 29:06.
The boys were able to compete as a team and came in sixth out of nine teams. Patrick Scoggins led the team taking 12th place with a time of 18:43, next in line was Mitchell Webber with a time of 20:59 taking 42nd place. Zach Glasgow ran a 21:35 taking 48th place. Daniel Connor, Brennan Noyes and James Scoggins were able to run together taking 58th, 59th and 60th place. Connor ran a 22:24, Noyes 22:32 and Scoggins 22:33.
Rangely will be running in Craig this weekend.
