RANGELY | J.P. Harrington, a graduating senior at Phillips Academy Andover, has been named one of more than 3,000 candidates in the 2010 Presidential Scholars Program. The candidates were selected from nearly 3.2 million students expected to graduate from U.S. high schools in 2010. J.P. is the son of Tom and Jeannine Harrington and is a frequent visitor to Rangely as his grandparents are longtime residents Julius and Lomell Poole and his mother, Jeannine Poole Harrington, was born and raised in Rangely. Fewer than one of 1,000 high school seniors were selected for this honor.
