courtesy photoA couple months ago one of our residents, who has a difficult time with her balance, took her trash to the dumpster. Upon returning to her apartment she had difficulty getting up the incline to the door because there was no hand rail. She spent more than an hour outside before someone came along to help her in. Somehow, the good folks at Stewart Welding found out and came to the rescue. They built a beautiful hand rail and donated it to White River Village. Rangely maintenance personnel installed it last week. Come spring, it will get a nice coat of paint to match the building. A heartfelt thanks from all at The White River Village to all of those that made this happen. God is good.
