Herbert Bruce Blagg, 81, of Morriston, Fla., died Apr. 22, 2010. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends at Haven Hospice.
Mr. Blagg was born Jan. 28, 1929, in Gravelly, Ark., to Forrest and Emmie Blagg. He was raised in Arkansas and Oklahoma. He was graduated from high school and then served in the U.S. Air Force for four years. Mr. Blagg was a licensed pharmacist in Colorado for more than 50 years. He was also an ordained minister.
He was a member of the Morriston Baptist Church.
Mr. Blagg is survived by his wife, Margarett Fant Blagg; sister Ouida (Denney) Moore; a son, Michael Lee (Linda) Blagg; two step-sons, Ben (Rose) Fant and Allen Fant; five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bertha, and brother Rex.
Local arrangements were made with the Knauff Funeral Home in Williston, Fla. Visitation was held Monday, Apr. 26. Graveside services were held Thursday, Apr. 29, at Park Grove Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Okla., under the direction of the Hayhurst Funeral Home.
