RBC | Colorado Preservation in collaboration with History Colorado will present the 2019 Saving Places Conference at the Sheraton Denver Hotel, Feb. 4-7. The conference theme is “The Next Generation of Preservation.” Drawing historic preservationists and experts from throughout Colorado, the nation and even internationally, more than 800 conferees will share ideas, network, learn from experts in a plethora of preservation topics and fields on best practices, funding, local coalition building, engaging community volunteers and much more. Rio Blanco County Historical Society President Terri Ruckman Reed and Board Member Kay Bivens will attend. Robert Amick will coordinate a seminar on Dark Sky Preservation and Illuminating Engineering for historic venues.
