Not much is left standing of the old Uintah Railway, which was built in 1904 and reached the end of the line in 1939.
Rodger Polley of Rangely led a tour June 13 of the old railway line. Polley who has had two books published about the history of the railway, has been giving the tours for about 10 years. “It was a great time,” Paula Davis said. “He’ll do another in the fall. If you have never gone, it is well worth the time.”
