MEEKER | Cathy Caldwell of Meeker is this week’s “home of.” Cathy was born in Meeker to Vic and Chiyoko Caldwell. She has one son, Tod Gould, and daughter in-law Stacey. Cathy is engaged to Rejino Molina; no wedding date has been set at this time. She can be seen with her three dogs, Sadie, Katie and Patches. She enjoys spending time with her family team roping and any other horse activities where she uses her four horses. She also enjoys dragging calves to the branding fire, working in her yard, gardening and cooking. Cathy has worked for the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment for eight years as an employment specialist in the Meeker office. She has volunteered as a 4-H leader, high school rodeo sponsor, Natural Resources Earth Team member and Range Call Rodeo Committee member. Cathy grew up on the lower White River on Crooked Wash, Windy Bill and Piceance Creek areas, where her parents owned 500 head of mother cows. Her fondest memories of growing up in Meeker are her family and friends and their kindness.
