RANGELY | This week’s home of honorees are Larry and Lisa Hatch of Rangely. Larry has lived here since 1963. Lisa came in 2002. They met in Rangely, Larry’s sister Gaila Bell introduced them. Their first date was Valentine’s Day 2004. They were married one year later in the Vernal Temple.
Larry Hatch is a maintenance worker for the town of Rangely. Lisa is a town council member. She does volunteer work. Lisa is the president of Rangely Community Gardens, a member of Rangely Human Resource Council and assists with writing town grants. She is currently working on a grant for improving the Elks trap shooting range.
Larry and Lisa have two Schnauzer mix dogs, Tyler and Toby.
Larry has three sisters, Sharon Stewart and Gaila Bell of Rangely and Iris Nolan of Oklahoma City, Okla. Lisa has two brothers and two sisters. Her family lives in Utah, Idaho, Mexico and Texas.
According to Lisa, they “love being outside. We love to fish, hunt. We hunt with weapons and cameras. We enjoy both. We love rock formations, camping. We love sports. We are big Broncos, Nuggets and Rockies fans.”
