RANGELY | Ronda Worrall of Rangely is this week’s “home of” honoree. Her parents moved to Rangely in 1964, when her dad Donald VanCleave was the State Farm agent. Her father is deceased and her mother Jeannette currently lives in Grand Junction.
“I moved moved back and forth between Denver and Rangely several times, but have been a full-time Rangely resident since 1985,” stated Ronda.
Ronda has worked at Rangely District hospital since 1992. “I just made my 20 year mark. I’m the RN manager for Rangely District Hospital Home Health/Hospice. I am very grateful to Rangely District Hospital for helping with my continuing education. I have an advanced certification in wound care and RDH is sending me to Chicago in November for advance certification in diabetic wound care. I won an all-expenses paid trip to the National Wild On Wound Conference which was held at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas last month because I was registered for the Chicago certification,” Ronda explained.
Ronda has four children: daughter Tayah Anderson, husband A.J. And their three daughters Cianna, Cerenity, and Tayliyah of Denver; Heidi Lucero, husband Andy, son Tyce and daughters Saige and Reese of Rangely; son Lance Worrall of Grand Junction; and son Clark Worrall of Rifle.
“I enjoy spending time with my family. I love to cook, travel and work on my family history/genealogy. I stay actively involved with the Rangely community. I also take exercise and yoga classes at the rec. center,” said Ronda.
“I like the small town atmosphere of Rangely. Everyone pulls together for everybody in times of need,” Ronda added.
