Barone Middle School’s Jayden Overton clears a hurdle in lane four, Emma Luce in lane three and Autumn Hobbs in lane one. These seventh grade hurdlers placed second, first and third respectively in the 100-meter hurdles at the Little Snake River track meet in Baggs, Wyo., May 4. This was successful meet following a week of uncooperative weather during practice. “The conditions at the meet Friday were nearly ideal,” said coach Marty Casey. He went on to say, “We had some excellent performances, across all divisions, against some great competition.” The success was deep with 12 girls placing and 20 boys taking home ribbons.
