MEEKER — There will be a hunter safety class Thursday, June 26 and Friday, June 27 from 6-10 p.m., and Saturday, June 28, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.. The class will be at Mountain Valley Bank Community Room in Meeker for ages 10 and up; 9-year-olds may attend if accompanied by a parent. No fee is charged. The class satisfies Colorado Hunter Education requirements for hunting license purchase and possession. Grads receive a hunter education card that’s valid throughout holder’s lifetime.
