RANGELY I The Hurricanes traveled to Craig over the weekend to participate in the annual ABC Open meet sponsored by the Sea Sharks.

Twenty swimmers from Rangely swam at the meet in 101 different events as they competed against athletes from Craig, Steamboat, Grand Junction, Delta, Bailey, Aurora and other communities.
This was the second swim meet of the year and the first time many of the kids had raced, and they all did an amazing job. All the swimmers had personal bests and several achieved qualifying times for either the Western Slope championships or the seasonal state meet.
