MEEKER — Getting a plan of action is the critical next step towards addressing the community infrastructure needs.
On April 2, the Rio Blanco County Board of Commissioners and the Meeker Town Board of Trustees will review the comments and suggestions made at the community infrastructure meeting on Feb. 27. The meeting will focus on a plan of action to address needs, funding and communications.
The board of directors from each of the area’s special districts are encouraged to attend. The public meeting will be held Wednesday, April 2 at Meeker Town Hall at 345 Market St. beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Approximately 95 people attended the community infrastructure meeting on Feb. 27. A questionnaire was distributed asking attendees for their thoughts and suggestions. Thirty-seven people completed the questionnaire. These comments will be shared with the town and county elected officials as they develop a plan of action.
