Rangely sophomore goalie Simone Heinle goes up for a save against Moffat County on Friday at Yeager Field. “The girls are still developing as a team and as individuals,” coach Pasty Wanstedt said. “There were exciting moments where hard work and practice have paid off. Even though the stats do not display hard work or improvement, as coaches we continue to see great things from many of the girls and we are excited for the season.” The Lady Panthers will play Vail Christian on Friday and Vail Mountain on Saturday, with both games starting at 1 p.m.
