Rio Blanco County taxpayers will soon be receiving their 2010 tax notices from the Rio Blanco County Treasurer. Property values in the county will remain approximately the same as last year unless you had new construction, demolished property, etc. However, property owners may see an increase in taxes due to mill levy changes. The east end of the county will see similar mill levies to the prior year. The west end of the county will see an increase in mill levies due to the voter approved passage of the Rangely Hospital District’s bond, along with other mill levy changes.
