This is the season to be thankful for all we have and we would like to take this time to thank these businesses that have made the extra effort to improve the outside appearance of their businesses. In the past few years, there has been a “Rangely Renaissance” in helping to make the town more attractive.
First National Bank of the Rockies, Budget Host and Subway, Colorado CPA, Elizabeth Robinson Studio, Flowersmith Exchange, Giant Step Daycare Center, Giovanni’s Italian Grill, Heritage Lumber, Los Tres Potrillos, Main Street Coffee House, Main Street Pub, Moose Head Lodge, NAPA Store, Quality Carpet and Furnishings , Rangely Library, Raven Realty, Silver Sage RV and Mobile Home Park, Sweetbriar, True Value Hardware, Town Square area and White River Drive-In.
Newer businesses such as the White River Market, the Blue Mountain Inn, the new Family Dollar store and Kum ‘n’ Go will create a wonderful appealing appearance for Rangely Main Street. The newly remodeled recreation center, not located on Main Street, deserves mentioning as it is a great asset to the community.
The nice code enforcement lady, Vicky Pfennig, has helped keep the weeds and trash from taking over the Main Street area as well. We thank her for a positive attitude and a job well done. The town’s Golden Spade Award for the attractive yards is encouragement for those who do care.
Thank you all for making Rangely a nice place to live and enjoy.
Phyllis and John Henley
