Letter: Caring community is appreciated by Pipers

To the Meeker community, Nicholas and I would like to take a moment to give our thanks to everyone who made such a difference for our family over this past year. It was because of the community that our family was able to focus on our father’s care and not sweat the small stuff. So many people brought such great comfort to us with their words of encouragement or offers of help no matter how small. You truly forget why living in such a small community is such a blessing until something heartbreaking happens. So please know that we are forever indebted to the outstanding residents of Meeker.
