Thanks to all the parents who supported us while we closed for two weeks during the construction. Thanks to Doug LeFevre and his crew for working so diligently to get the work done in the small time allotted. Thanks to the rest of the contractors, Toby Cortez, Dinosaur Plumbing; Ducey’s Electric; Quality Carpet and Furnishings; and Jones Paint and Glass, Vernal, Utah.
Special thanks to Stewart Welding for donating metal and welding for the new door frame. Rangely Trash quickly emptied (three times) our dumpster. The players from the CNCC baseball team hauled the old cabinets and cinder blocks to the dumpster and Robby Bales (coach), Chris, and others who helped to get us open, and finally Josh, who completed many hours of community service for this project.
We could not have done this project without the support of Rio Blanco County Department of Social Services for child care quality improvements funding. If you haven’t been in, make sure you stop in and check it out. We love the kitchen; the kids love the new door!
