Letter: Groups say thanks for fundraiser support

The Rangely Community Education Association (co-presidents Kathy Thorsby and Madelin Morrill) with the help of the Rangely Student Council (leaders Betty Lopez and Crandal Mergelman/co-presidents Mike Dillon and JC Chumacero) would like to thank all who helped with the fundraiser for the Beck family to help pay for part of Ethan’s new wheelchair. $960 was raised during the chili bar Jan. 15. This shows what an awesome community Rangely is — full of loving, kind and caring individuals. A special shout-out goes to the Paonia Student Council (Paonia was Rangely’s basketball opponent that day), which donated $100 toward the cause. Now that’s great sportsmanship!
