Letter: Meeker Methodist breaks ground July 12

We are awestruck by the fact that God is allowing the Meeker Methodist Church to build a new sanctuary.
Our congregation has been concerned about our deteriorating facility for a number of years. We have been in the process for some time trying to plan for a new building. Last summer we started a pledge drive, and we were overwhelmed by the generosity of present and former members as well as the community. However, there was not enough money for the original plan. Last winter God sent us a gentleman who has acted as our architect and came up with a plan that we could afford. God’s timing is always perfect as building costs are down from what they were a year ago.
On July 12, we will be having a groundbreaking ceremony right after our worship service. We welcome everyone to come and be a part of this historical occasion.
