Letter: Pozorski family extends many thanks

We, the family of Kacey Pozorski, would like to say “thank you” to everyone that has kept her in their prayers. We would also like to thank everyone who donated an item or helped at the benefit on Nov. 19. It was a spectacular turnout and even more of a spectacular success. We all had a great time because of those who attended and showed support for Kurt, Jackie and most of all, Kacey.
We hope we did not forget anyone, but if we did, please know that we appreciated everything everyone has done. Some of the people and businesses that helped make the benefit a success were: The Herald Times, Meeker Collision, David Cole (private pilot), Meeker Hotel & Café (winners of the Holy Macaroni cook off), Ma Famiglia, The Bistro, Fiesta Guadalajara, Clark’s, The Meeker School Lunch ladies, White River Inn, Watt’s Family Market, Jackson’s Office Supply, Avis’, Napa, Salon on 6th, Tan Line, MGM, Rocky Mountain Hairbenders, The Vet Clinic, Meeker Golf Course, Joy Surveying, Wendll’s, Strata Communications, Ace Hardware, Hidden Treasures, Wyatt’s Sport, Ole’ Crow Liquor, Daren and Tammy Olson, Whites Construction, Tips to Toes, Ellen Robinson Studios, Arlene Estes, Antler Taxidermy, Randy Ridgeway, White River Liquor, White River Bath & Body, European Mounts, Stage Stop, Home Furnishing, Allan and Jeanne Jones (Winslett Ranch), Brandan and Erica Stewart (Triple Track Outfitters), Mary Kay and Albert Krueger (Villa Ranch), Laura Hertzke, Ann Marie Scritchfield (Sable Mountain Outfitters), Meeker Lions Club, The Rio Blanco Fairgrounds, Yampa Valley Golf Course, Jason’s Automotive, Meeker Video, Rocky Mountain Bowstrings, Moody Construction and Blue Spruce Inn.
We also would like to thank everyone who attended in person or in heart. Without all of you participating, this event would not have been a success. We apologize for the lateness of this letter. We waited to send this out to notify those curious that Kacey has drawn the winners of the hunts. They are: AJ Morris of Leadville, Colo., for the Archery Hunt at Villa Ranch (donated by Mary Kay Krueger), Duane Nelson of Kent, Wash. for the Cow Hunt at Winslett Ranch (donated by Allan and Jeanne Jones) and Joe Klien of Cold Spring, Minn. for the Trophy Mule Deer or Elk Hunt at Triple Track Outfitters (donated by Brandan and Erica Stewart). We can’t express our gratitude to the wonderful outfitters who donated these hunts. Because of their generosity and everyone that participated we were able to generate some much needed financial relief.
Just to let everyone know, Kacey and family have returned to Meeker, because the doctors in Minnesota felt that the treatments weren’t working. We don’t know what the future will hold for Kacey or Kurt and Jackie. It is our belief that God only knows that for all of us. We greatly appreciated all the prayers and positive attitudes that we have received and pray that those will continue as we believe that miracles are worked everyday. Kacey is doing well, she has a great powerful spirit and is always putting smiles on our faces and we hope yours, too.
May God bless each of you and may Christ walk with you in the year of miracles 2011!
Thank you from the bottom and the top of our hearts!
Grandpa Tim and
Grandma Cindy Nelson
