Letter: Range Call will mark 125th anniversary

This Fourth of July will mark the 125th anniversary of the Range Call Celebration. This year’s schedule of events feature country music artist Neil McCoy, Wild West variety show and pageant, expanded fireworks show, plus all our traditional favorites. Rather than sending out a volunteer to ask you to renew your sign for the arena and others to promote our beautiful and talented royalty, we have combined it all into our new sponsorship packages.
The Meeker Range Call Committee would like to invite local businesses to sponsor the 125th Range Call celebration this July 4. Various sponsorship levels are available, which include exclusive advertising benefits, tickets to the weekend’s events, souvenir T-Shirts as well as VIP meet and greet passes for Neil McCoy and a luncheon with the Range Call Royalty for our top sponsors. Keep a ticket for yourself, give a few to your employees — what a great way to show them how much you appreciate them — plus sit back and relax while Range Call advertises your business all over Western Colorado via radio, print and Internet.
If you have purchased a hand-painted sign to be hung in the rodeo arena in the past, and are not sure if you want spend much more, consider the bronze package. This not only gives you the sign in the arena, but also your logo on www.rangecall.com, your banner at the barn dances, four tickets to the weekend’s events and four souvenir T-shirts. Odds are that you will be buying tickets to the event anyway, why not package it all together and get some great advertising too?
We are also looking for businesses interested in specifically sponsoring the CPRA rodeos, parade and archery tournament. Imagine, the 125th Range Call parade could be named after your business. Your sponsorship dollars will be used as prize money for that specific event.
