Dear Editor:
We would like to thank those in Rio Blanco who took time out of their busy schedules to attend their caucuses on March 6. We know that people are inherently busy and a meeting that may last an hour or more isn’t always the ideal way to spend an evening. We are grateful to those people who set aside their busy lives to attend to the needs of representation and their community.
Unfortunately, turnout in Rangely was quite low, however participation in Meeker was robust. We encourage anyone interested in the future of Rio Blanco political leadership to attend the County Assembly on March 17 at the Meeker 4-H Building at 1 p.m. Remember, the world is run by those who show up.
