The first annual Colorado Bowhunter’s Association (CBA) Flat Tops Invitational Indoor 3D Shoot went better than expected for our first year. We had 73 archers of all ages, some from as far away as Loveland, Colo., Fort Duchesne, Utah, and Vernal, Utah, come out to the Garfield County Fairgrounds and try their luck. Participants won over $750 in cash and almost $250 in merchandise. The shoot was open to all archers.
We would like to thank our sponsors for their generous contributions Cabela’s, Carnage Unlimited, ERBM Rec. District, Garfield County Fairgrounds, Grand Mesa Archery, Red Rock Archery, Rifle Performance Motorsports, Timberline Sporting Goods, Stampfel Construction Co., Valley Traditional Archery Supply and Villa Ranch.
We would also like to thank CBA members Rick Davis and Mark Wollert, without your help we could not have done it! Big thanks to Lucky Dog Grill for supplying concessions. We are already looking forward to next year’s event, hoping to grow even larger.
Once again, thank you to everyone who made this event a success!
