Letter: Social services office appreciates support

The Department of Social Services wishes to thank all the many organizations and individuals who took time out of their busy schedules to remember those less fortunate within our communities with gifts of food, money, gift certificates and time during this past holiday season. Your generosity is very much appreciated not only by the Department but more importantly by those who were helped by your gifts during these hard economic times. It is a blessing to live in such a caring and supportive location.
