Letter: Task force raffling quilt for charity

Just wanted to let your readers know about a quilt raffle. The Colorado Rural Electric Association Women’s Task Force is raffling off a beautiful custom-made quilt. The quilt will be on display at the WREA annual meeting on Sept. 8. Proceeds from this raffle will go to several groups or organizations throughout Colorado, including the Steamboat Energy Camp, Washington, D.C., Youth Tour, and the REA Employee Hotline Burn Fund. Tickets can be purchased at the WREA annual meeting and are $2 each or three for $5. The drawing will be Oct. 20 at the Omni Interlocken Resort during the Region VII meeting. In addition to the quilt, there are cash prizes — second prize is $300 and third prize is $200. We invite everyone to come enjoy the annual meeting and help us raise money for these very worthy causes.
