The Rangely Tea Party group suggests using “The 5,000 Year Leap” book for teaching the U.S. Constitution class in middle school to replace the history/social studies class. This class would be excellent in high school as well as CNCC.
It is very important that our youth learn and know about the U.S. Constitution: Why we have it and how we keep it. If we don’t know where we have come from, we surely don’t know where we are going?
The Tea Party group has started a U.S. Constitution class the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at CNCC and anyone may join the class at anytime.
Copies of “The 5,000 Year Leap” books and information are available from Lisa LeFevre, 675-3206.
