The “Bunco Buddies” would like to thank Gary and Kathy Staley of Sweetbriar’s Gift Shop and Jane and Mike Miller of Quality Carpet and Furnishings for supplying donations for the silent auction at the Relay for Life. Also thanks to the many anonymous donors who helped with the Bunco prizes and auction items, as well as to the many people who bid and played Bunco to help us raise money. The American Cancer Society (ACS) will use the funds raised to do research that benefits many people nationwide. Examples of the ACS’s work include the development of the HPV vaccine for cervical cancer, reduced rates at motels for cancer patients and their families during treatment and providing information and education that helps people take control of their health.
