Letter to the Editor: Clarks say thanks for supporting their son

Clem Clark lost his battle with cystic fibrosis about 3 a.m. Monday at Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker. It was his request to be in Meeker where he was born and grew up. The hospital here may be small but they gave Clem many happy memories and wonderful care for the few weeks he was back here after three and a half months in Denver hospitals. He just wanted to spend his final days with people he knew and surroundings he loved. Thanks to everyone for the prayers, visits and support you have given Clem and our family over the years in his and his sister’s battle to conquer cystic fibrosis. They both had a wonderful life here in Meeker because of this community. They both lived their lives to the fullest but will be missed dearly.
