(And the Meeker Community.) I was absolutely thrilled when I walked over the hill to see more than 600 track athletes competing on the newly refurbished track.
The Bob King Track and Field had an amazing initial track meet! Saturday was a beautiful day to “christen” the track and celebrate each person who had worked so hard to bring this state of the art track to Meeker High School. It was truly a labor of love for the whole community.
Congratulations to all the coaches and volunteers who organized and managed one of the largest track events in Meeker history. Our goals of having the new track bring athletes, their families, community members—not only to have a fantastic facility for competition but also bring many to enjoy Meeker in the springtime.
