Dear Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted for me in the primary election. At the same time I want to thank all the voters, as you have exercised your right to determine the direction our county will follow for the next four years.
I have lost elections, but never before experienced the outpouring of support I have received this time. For that I am eternally grateful and will leave office at the end of the year proud of the accomplishments and forward thinking I followed on behalf of the county. One half of the citizens of Rio Blanco County believed that the job I have been doing was correct, and I will continue working with the same work ethic as always. Until my last day I will follow the policies and procedures I have to this point. Whatever the job may be, I will be there.
Again, I wholeheartedly thank everyone countywide for the opportunity to serve the citizens of Rio Blanco County as county commissioner.
