Dear Editor:
You have certainly given kudos to a very talented Macy Collins.
I am a 4-H leader at Rangely and hear constantly about how nobody will ever beat Macy.
The 4-Hers here want to quit 4-H or compete where she’s not. They don’t understand the hours she puts into her stock.
She is a dedicated individual with a real love for what she does.
I was raised at Colyer Cattle Co. in Bruneau, Idaho. They are consistent winners with their hereford cattle in the national arena. Recently, they sold a bull for 600,000.
This is a result of fine tuning for three generations.
Macy’s family is legendary. The work ethic they have is rare in today’s world.
Thank you for calling attention to this fine young woman.
