Letter to the Editor: Many thanks for helping hands

Dear Editor:
I wish to thank the small community of Rangely for all your blessings and prayers sent out to God for the recovery of Jimmy and Judy Bristol through their bad accident on Feb. 27, 2011.
Thank you to the person that stopped for Jimmy on the side of the road and called 911, to the fast response of emergency personnel, sheriff personnel and state patrol. A big thanks for no speeding tickets on my way to the hospital that morning.
Thank you to all the nurses and doctors at Rangely Hospital and Flight for Life. Thank you to my future sister in-law and her mother for being there for Steven Jr. and myself at the E.R., giving me a shoulder to cry on.
Thank you, Daddy, for helping me find neighbors to watch the ranch while I was gone. I love you, Dad, you’re the best father any daughter could ask for.
Thank you to everyone that helped search the lake and town for Chi Chi, my mom’s best friend. And thank you to all that helped bring her back to us.
Thank you to all our helpful neighbors on Highway 64, who could ask for more. Thank you Grandpa and Grandma for coming home, I don’t know what we would do without you, you’re the best.
A big thank you to all friends and family that stopped to visit mom and put a smile on her face through her recovery. Thank you to Jimmy’s family for being there for Jimmy. He needed to see your familiar faces through his recovery.
Thank you to my co-workers at Loaf ‘n’ Jug for covering for me. Thank you to the Englerts for helping start to foal my mares this spring.
Thank you to Weldon for replacing, laying off or to put it plain, firing Jimmy for whatever reasons. Thank you for kicking him while he was already down.
A donation has been set up at First National Bank of the Rockies to help my family, since I am the only one able to work in the household.
Thank you everyone so much. A big thank you to my boyfriend and my close friends for keeping my hopes up and keeping me from breaking down. I love you guys. And last but never forgotten, thank you God for watching out for both Judy and Jimmy and for keeping the ice from breaking … thank you.
