I would like to take a moment to recognize the many wonderful people who make Rangely’s Rec Center the absolute jewel of our town. We love our Rec Center and couldn’t live here without it.
Camilla Kennedy, Kirsten Cushman, Bethany Green and Natalie Kurrasch work tirelessly and creatively, just above and beyond, to provide so many fun activities for the community. I’m especially thankful for their great care of my little girls whenever they’re swimming (which is a lot!). It’s immaculate (thanks, Francisca and her staff!), the front desk is always helpful and friendly. The board works hard to make fair and balanced decisions. The lifeguards take their job seriously. And, of course, Tim Webber is a visionary who has transformed both the buildings and the parks in amazing ways. Really, it’s one of my favorite places to be on the planet. I call it my “happy place.” So thank you! What you all do matters! You’re a blessing to our town!
