Dear Editor:
I would like to share my beliefs about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
We believe in God the Eternal Father, and His son Jesus Christ and in the Holy Ghost.
We believe that we will be saved through the Atonement of Christ.
We obey the laws of the Gospel. We believe in Free Agency.
We believe in faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism by immersion and the gift of the Holy Ghost.
We believe that your body is a gift from God. And you shouldn’t do anything to harm your body,
We believe you should conduct yourself in a proper manner at all times, such as chastity, honesty, serving others etc.
We believe that Joseph Smith was called by God our Eternal Father to restore the Church as it was during Christ’s time.
We claim the privilege of worshiping God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship, how, where, or what they may.
And I know that I am a Christian. These are just some beliefs of the Church.
We invite you to learn more about the Church. You can visit LDS.org or visit with our Missionaries to learn more and draw your own conclusions.
