The White River Community Association (caretakers of the Buford School) would like to thank all who came to our annual fish fry on Saturday. We had beautiful weather and a record turnout, serving close to 200 people. Thanks also to all of our members for the food donations and hard work involved in making the fish fry a success. Everyone had the opportunity to speak to state representative Randy Baumgardner who was in attendance.
The whitefish were supplied by the fishermen who participated in our annual Buy Fly fishing tournament in March. The funds raised by this event are used to preserve and perpetuate the historic Buford School.
We plan on holding this event on the second Saturday in June every year and look forward to seeing you there.
Thanks again from the
Dee Weiss, Boots Campbell, Jessie Dorner and Marge Rogers.
