Dear Editor:
This is an open letter to Colorado Northwestern Community College and the Rangely community.
I want to say thank you for your support with our fourth annual blood drive. It was a great success, and I wanted to share the numbers with all of you.
We had such a wonderful turnout that we are going to try to obtain two buses for next year to accommodate the list and to help alleviate the wait.
So many people signed up that the St. Mary’s Blood Mobile wasn’t able to fit everyone into their allotted time here.
Thanks to everyone who participated in this endeavor and a special thanks for making this difficult time a bit easier for our family. Again, our most sincere thanks to everyone who came out to support us. We could not have done this without you.
The total number of people who signed up was 75. There were 5.5 gallons of blood collected, and the blood mobile was on site for four hours.
A special thanks to CNCC student Courtney Hibbs for her assistance with our marketing as well as to Heather Zadra and the Herald Times staff for their incredible write up. We feel this was key to our success this year and we can’t thank everyone enough.
