Dear Editor:
Edna Mae and Kim Gould, the Tod Gould Family, Julie McCrary and families, the Kelly Crawford Family, the Donald Hobbs Family and Carole O’Connor want to express our sincere appreciation to everyone. We all are deeply missing our son, husband, dad, brother, uncle and our beloved “Papa Mike.”
He was loved by everyone! He had a very big heart, and it just quit beating. His body was full of infections. All the doctors and ICU nurses and respiratory therapists at Valley View Hospital and St. Mary’s are some of the best people on the Western Slope. Also our very own here in Meeker.
The biggest thanks go to all families and friends of Rio Blanco County. You all know who you are—and thanks to our families and friends who live out of Meeker.
I saw on Saturday, July 4, 2015, exactly how much love and how many acts of kindness there are here in this community. Thank you all for loving and caring for all of us.

P.S. I will speak for Vicki’s and Donald’s families and Brother Ty Hobbs on the loss of their dad, brother and Grandpa Kelly Hobbs. He was the best pilots in the Western United States. All of the Hobbs families and I would like to thank everyone who helped us out through this loss. Thank you for your sympathy. God bless you all!
